Streamers, streamers, streamers... where to start?

First, don't let streamers intimidate you! They are an effective way to catch the most aggressive fish in the stream, river or lake. If the conditions are right, and the fish are hungry, streamer fishing can produce some of the best days on the water.

Look to cast upstream, across the stream towards the banks, downstream swings, and dead drifts to entice a strike. Try different colors. Dark fly, dark day. Light fly, bright day.
